Kaaren Hirschowitz Engel is an artist and yoga teacher. In 2004, she began playing her antique Tibetan singing bowls in her yoga classes.  Her students responded enthusiastically to the soothing and meditative effects produced by the bowls. She began offering singing bowl restorative yoga workshops (known as Singing Bowl Sundays) as well as individual sound therapy sessions. Her bowls have traveled around the world with her, spreading their innate magic wherever they go.  For the past several years, she has collaborated with Thomas to offer workshops and sound sessions.  This album, an offering of art, music, healing and love, is the latest installment of their collaborative efforts and a continuation of their healing sound journey.
